Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient Clinic

Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to manage patient flow and support providers in an outpatient clinic environment. In this role, you will deliver collaborative, high-quality patient care across diverse age groups—including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—performing clinical intake, immunizations, phlebotomy, and administrative clinic support.

Compensation:
  • Medical Assistant (MA): $22.23 – $27.37 / hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $24.50 – $32.77 / hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule Details:
  • Rotating shift coverage with flexible scheduling options (clinic shifts typically range between 7:45 AM and 8:30 PM, including rotating weekend shifts).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Intake & Care: Greet and room patients, capture vital signs, report clinical concerns to providers, and deliver age-appropriate nursing support across pediatric and adult populations.
  • Medications & Specimen Collection: Administer immunizations, injections, and medications under provider direction; perform routine phlebotomy and clinical lab specimen collection.
  • Clinic & Administrative Support: Assist with prescription refills, telephone triage, customer-provider communications, prior authorizations, supply inventory, and front desk check-in support as needed.
  • Diagnostic Support: Perform routine basic clinic laboratory tests and auxiliary duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • For Medical Assistant Candidates:
    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent [Required].
    • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES, CAAHEP, or RMA via AMT) [Required].
    • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
  • For LPN Candidates:
    • Active, unrestricted State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License [Required].
    • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
  • Core Competencies: Strong interdisciplinary communication, patient flow management, phlebotomy/injection skills, and adaptability across primary care and specialty clinic settings.
