Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient Clinic
Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile, customer-focused Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient clinical team. In this collaborative role, you will manage patient flow and assist providers in delivering compassionate, individualized care to patients across all age groups—from pediatric to geriatric care. Working under direct provider and supervisor guidance, you will perform clinical rooming, medication administration, laboratory specimen collection, and key administrative support tasks.
Compensation Details:
- Medical Assistant Pay Range: $22.23 – $27.37 / hour (commensurate with years of experience).
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Pay Range: $24.50 – $32.77 / hour (commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Flow & Clinical Intake: Greet patients, execute standard rooming processes, record vital signs, and update patient charts.
- Clinical Procedures & Care: Administer ordered immunizations, injections, and medications; perform laboratory specimen collection and phlebotomy (blood draws).
- Patient Communication & Support: Handle phone triage/support, facilitate communication between patients and providers, and assist with prescription refill requests.
- Administrative & Auxiliary Duties: Assist with front desk check-in, prior authorizations, ordering/stocking clinical supplies, and performing basic laboratory testing. (Optional: X-ray duties if certified/licensed as an X-ray operator).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- For Medical Assistant Candidates:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) [Required].
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (e.g., ABHES, CAAHEP) OR an RMA-accredited program with certification [Required].
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
- For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Candidates:
- Active state LPN License [Required].
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
