Role Overview:
Seeking a adaptable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 40-hour temporary contract assignment based in Lancaster, NH. The CMA will perform direct clinical care, patient rooming, vaccinations, specimen collection, and administrative workflows in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. Candidates must be willing to float across regional outpatient satellite clinics as needed to cover operational staffing gaps.

Schedule & Hours:
  • Shift Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours/day | 40 hours/week guaranteed).
  • Weekend Requirements: None.
  • On-Call Requirements: None.

  • Primary Facility: Lancaster, NH
  • Float Satellite Clinics (As Needed):
    • Whitefield, NH
    • Littleton, NH
    • Groveton, NH
    • Colebrook, NH
    • West Stewartstown, NH
    • Berlin, NH

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Practice:
  • Clinical Rooming & Vital Signs: Assist providers with patient exams and procedures; accurately record vital signs, medical histories, and active medications in the EMR system.
  • Medications, Vaccines & Lab Testing: Administer ordered medications and immunizations following clinical protocols; conduct routine specimen collection (phlebotomy/swabs) and point-of-care laboratory testing.
  • Clinic Operations & Patient Flow: Prepare and sanitize exam rooms, maintain inventory levels, restock clinical supplies, and assist with patient triage to ensure optimal clinic throughput.
  • Administrative & Clerical Support: Schedule appointments, handle phone inquiries, process insurance pre-authorizations, manage billing/filing documentation, and assist with referral coordination.

Qualifications & Submission Requirements:
Certification & Licensure:
  • Active AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential or equivalent national MA certification (must be uploaded with submission profile) [REQUIRED].
  • Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [REQUIRED].
Clinical Experience & Profile Documents:
  • Minimum 1–2 years of current Medical Assistant experience [REQUIRED].
  • Prior travel contract experience [HIGHLY PREFERRED].
  • Completed Medical Assistant Skills Checklist [REQUIRED].
  • One (1) supervisory reference signed within the past 12 months [REQUIRED].
  • Verified permanent home address and explicit Requested Time Off (RTO) included at time of submission [REQUIRED].
