Position Overview:
An outpatient Internal Medicine clinic in the Jaffrey, NH area is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support to physicians, nurses, and the clinical care team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
  • Perform blood draws and other phlebotomy procedures within scope of practice.
  • Administer routine injections and pediatric immunizations.
  • Perform point-of-care laboratory testing.
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care and procedures.

Patient Care:
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
  • Escort and assist patients to and from examination rooms.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Provide patients with appropriate instructions regarding testing, preparation, and follow-up.
  • Return patient calls and relay clinical instructions as directed by physicians.

Documentation & Administrative Support:
  • Assist with clinical documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Complete referral forms and laboratory requisitions.
  • Ensure patient charts and documentation are accurate and up to date.
Clinic Operations:
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock examination rooms.
  • Maintain adequate clinical supplies and assist with inventory management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, clinical managers, and other staff to support efficient clinic operations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of formal Medical Assistant education or training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Medical Assistant experience.
  • Active CMA, RMA, or equivalent Medical Assistant certification.
  • Active AHA BLS certification.
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy outpatient clinical environment.
