Job Title: Nurse Coordinator (CNI) – Neurosurgical / Brain Tumor Specialty

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an urgent, 8-week contract within a designated Neurosurgical Center of Excellence. This role focuses on coordinating clinical aspects for brain tumor patients, working as a vital liaison between the neurosurgical treatment team, patients, and the community. This is an outpatient clinical position offering a professional, Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Coordination: Manage all clinical aspects of a specialized neurosurgical practice, ensuring seamless patient care from diagnosis through treatment.
Collaborative Care: Partner closely with a team of expert Neurosurgeons to coordinate weekly conferences and monitor patient protocols.
Education & Advocacy: Provide specialized education to patients, first responders, and healthcare peers regarding neurological treatment indications.
Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of neurosurgical treatments and follow-up care protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: Brain Tumor clinical experience is required.
Clinical Skills: Outpatient surgical clinic experience is required; Neurosurgical nursing experience is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Licensure: Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Flexibility: Ability to float between regional clinic locations as needed.

Schedule & Compensation:

Shift: Monday–Friday (Day Shift)
Work-Life Balance: No on-call, no weekends, no holidays.
Pay Rate: $65.00 – $70.00 per hour (Based on experience).
Contract Length: Urgent 8-week assignment with potential for extension.
