Job Opportunity: Night Shift CT Technologist
We have an urgent need for a skilled CT Technologist to join a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging team for an immediate start. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to high standards of patient care and technical accuracy.
Schedule & Contract Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Rotation: Consistent 3-night weekly schedule (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights).
- Hours: 36 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities:
- Technical Performance: Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with regulatory standards, maintaining a target timeframe of 45 minutes for routine procedures.
- Documentation & PACS: Ensure accurate documentation and image quality within the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS).
- Patient Interaction: Conduct patient interviews for clinical history, provide educational instructions to families, and manage the physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to Universal Precautions and Infection Control policies.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of a formal Radiologic Technology program (AMA approved).
- Certification: Must be registry-eligible or certified by the ARRT and/or the NJ State Board of Examiners.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with demonstrated competency in CT procedures.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation protection, and computer applications specific to CT. GE experience is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift/move up to 50 lbs, and work in varying lighting conditions.
