Job Title: General Dentist
Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in an outpatient clinic setting. In this role, you will diagnose and treat dental conditions for patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics—supported by an experienced clinical team. Flexible scheduling options are available to fit your preference, and motivated new graduates or specialists (such as Endodontists) are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care & Treatments: Perform routine exams, restorations (fillings), and general dental procedures across all age groups (averaging ~9 treatment patients and ~12 exams per day).
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated support team consisting of dental assistants, a hygienist, and front-desk administrative staff.
- Patient Education & Planning: Diagnose oral health issues, develop personalized treatment plans, and educate patients on preventative oral care.
- Electronic Recordkeeping: Utilize Denticon (Planet DDS) EMR for accurate patient charting and treatment documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education & Credentials: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school [Required].
- Licensure & Enrollment: Active State Dental License [Required]; active enrollment in Medicaid or willingness to enroll [Required].
- Patient Scope: Ability and willingness to treat patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (comfort with children aged 4–5 and under is preferred, but not strictly mandatory).
- Experience: Open to all experience levels, including recent residency or dental school graduates.
Schedule & Shift Details:
- Work Setting: Outpatient Dental Clinic
- Hours & Schedule: Flexible schedule options between Tuesday and Sunday (Day/Weekend shifts available; clinic operates 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tue–Sat, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Sun).
- Call Expectations: Scheduled shifts only — No Call requirements.
