Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join a neurodiagnostic team supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with neurologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic care.
The ideal candidate has experience performing routine and ambulatory EEG studies, long-term monitoring, and is comfortable working with modern digital EEG equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and ambulatory EEG studies.
- Conduct Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) and specialized neurodiagnostic testing.
- Apply electrodes using the International 10-20 System.
- Prepare and educate patients before procedures.
- Document studies accurately using Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with neurologists to provide technical findings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment.
- Ensure compliance with departmental quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) program.
- Minimum 2 years of EEG Technologist experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience using Epic EMR.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- ABRET (R. EEG T.) Certification.
- Experience performing ambulatory EEGs and long-term monitoring.
