Position Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medication administration as part of a collaborative treatment team. The LPN will work alongside physicians, nursing leadership, and counseling staff to support patient care while maintaining accurate medication and treatment records.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a professional, non-judgmental, and accepting approach when caring for patients with substance use disorders.

- Shift Type: Days.
- Shift Time: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM.
- Hours/Day: 8 hours.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week.
- Weekend Requirements: Required.
- On-Call: None.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medications to patients in accordance with established policies, medical protocols, and treatment plans.
- Operate automated medication dispensing systems and maintain dispensing equipment.
- Calibrate pumps and ensure dispensing equipment remains properly maintained.
- Maintain accurate patient records, medication records, and required reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations regarding the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
- Order, receive, and maintain medication inventory in accordance with applicable DEA and state regulations, when authorized.
- Conduct daily patient assessments and report relevant treatment information.
- Assist with the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors, counselors, and other members of the treatment team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of medication administration experience – Required.
- BLS – Required.
- Active Maine LPN License – Required.
- Opioid addiction treatment/center experience – Highly Preferred.
