Job Opportunity: Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing Vascular Surgery assignment. This position offers a consistent, part-time schedule within a hospital-based practice setting.
Schedule & Workload:
- Start Date: June 1 (Ongoing)
- Rotation: Every other week.
- Shift: Wednesdays only (10-hour shift).
- Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day with 2 consults.
- Setting: Mixed environment covering both hospital rounds/consults and an on-site clinic. No trauma coverage required.
Clinical Details:
- Patient Population: Adults (18+).
- Facility Size: 150-bed hospital.
- Procedures: Includes bypass and amputations.
- EMR: EPIC.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) license and DEA required.
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Vascular Surgery. Candidates without prior surgical-specific experience will be considered if they meet the vascular specialty requirement.
Credentialing:
- Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.
- Temporary Privileges: Available for providers with a clean background file.
