Join Our Laboratory Team:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our clinical laboratory team. In this full-time role, you will perform laboratory testing that supports physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality results.
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Permanent.
- Varied 8-hour shifts.
- 80 hours per two-week pay period.
- Weekend and occasional on-call coverage may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing.
- Operate laboratory instruments and automated analyzers.
- Process and document specimens using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Maintain quality control and follow laboratory safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Current Oregon MLT license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, automated analyzers, microscopes, and LIS/HIS systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
