Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Permanent Placement
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a well-established, collaborative OB/GYN practice supporting two regional clinical locations. In this full-time role, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality medical care to women across all stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and post-delivery, alongside a robust outpatient clinic GYN caseload. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical competency, working autonomously while seamlessly collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver empathetic, patient-centered care.
Compensation & Premier Benefits Package
- Base Salary Range: $140,000 – $145,000 / year (Includes 200 hours of combined Vacation and CME time)
- Productivity Bonus: Uncapped wRVU production incentives paid out at $26.00 per wRVU.

Position, Shift & Call Schedule
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Employment (Locum tenens or locum-to-perm candidates are not being considered).
- Coverage Matrix: Supports two closely aligned regional outpatient OB/GYN clinic sites.
- Weekday Schedule: Composed of two standard 8-hour clinic days and one dedicated 24-hour on-call day, heavily supported by on-site OB Hospitalists.
- Weekend Rotation: Shared 1:4 call rotation (covering Friday and Saturday schedules).
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of active, post-certification experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) [Required]. New graduates cannot be considered for this specific opening.
- Specialized Clinical Knowledge: Documented experience or a working understanding of perinatal education, gestational diabetes management programs, and maternal substance use disorder intervention techniques [Required].
Licensure & Board Certifications
- Primary Certification: Active board certification and licensure through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) [Required].
- State Licensure: Active, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Ohio, or immediate eligibility to obtain licensure prior to onboarding [Required].
- Background: A completely clean professional license history and malpractice record is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Scope Midwifery: Provide complete prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological care, maintaining high technical competency in the clinical management of pregnant individuals.
- Outpatient Clinic Operations: Diagnose and treat acute or chronic illnesses within the standard outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting, executing localized diagnostic tests and minor procedures.
- Patient Advocacy & Education: Actively counsel, support, and educate patients and families regarding prenatal care, birth plans, and newborn transition.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work as a fluid member of an integrated care team, partnering closely with OB Hospitalists, staff nurses, and medical specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Community Integration: Utilize a solid working knowledge of community healthcare resources and specialty networks to handle clinical referrals smoothly.
