Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled General & Vascular Sonographer to provide high-quality mobile ultrasound services. In this role, you will travel locally in a company-provided vehicle to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams at nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, home care facilities, and other healthcare locations while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physician-ordered general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
- Travel to assigned healthcare facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Transmit images electronically for Radiologist interpretation.
- Verify physician orders and patient identification before each exam.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with dispatch throughout the workday.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicle and ultrasound equipment.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Active ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT registration in General and Vascular Sonography required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
