Job Title: Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative and expanding Oncology service line at a premier regional hospital. Working within a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, you will function as an integral member of a clinical patient care team. The role is primarily outpatient-focused with occasional inpatient consults, supported by a high-caliber infusion team, in-house pharmacy, and onsite radiation oncology and laboratory services.

Compensation & Benefits

Average Annual Salary: $135,626.50 (Commensurate with significant experience).
Sign-on Bonus: Potential bonus to be discussed during the interview.
Relocation: Assistance available for qualified candidates; residency within the local area is required.

Position Details

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (Four 10-hour shifts).
Work-Life Balance: No nights or weekends; shared paid call.
Clinical Environment: Access to a 19-chair infusion room and clinical trials; affiliated with a major health and sciences university network.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Licensure

Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) [Required].
NP Specifics: AONCP certification (active or in-process) [Required].
PA Specifics: Oncology subspecialty or additional oncology training [Highly Preferred].
State License: Oregon license (active or willing to obtain) [Required].

Experience & Clinical Skills

Specialty Experience: Prior experience practicing as an Oncology NP/PA in inpatient or outpatient settings [Highly Preferred].
Clinical Acumen: Proficiency with EPIC EMR and a background in providing evidence-based, compassionate care.
Background: Must have a clean malpractice history and background. A recent NPDB self-query report is required for the application process.
Regional Connection: Candidates with existing ties to the state of Oregon (family, previous residency, etc.) are [Required].

Excellent written and oral communication for effective interdepartmental coordination.
