We are seeking an experienced Licensed Psychologist to provide specialized psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for children, adolescents, and families within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

This position requires extensive experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations, including children as young as 3 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessment & Treatment:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop treatment recommendations and intervention plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services.
  • Assess and intervene during crisis and emergency situations.
  • Develop mental health diagnoses and treatment strategies.

Collaboration & Care Coordination:
  • Work closely with physicians, behavioral health professionals, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when appropriate.
  • Participate in treatment planning and program development initiatives.
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding best practices.

Documentation & Quality Improvement:
  • Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation.
  • Complete assessment reports and treatment records.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and program evaluation.
  • Support development of clinical policies and specialty practice guidelines.

Professional Development:
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings and committee work.
  • Maintain knowledge of current psychological treatment approaches.
  • Utilize evidence-based psychological interventions.
  • Support organizational and departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

Education & Licensure:
  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program REQUIRED.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship REQUIRED.
  • Active Texas Psychologist License REQUIRED.

Experience:
  • Extensive child and adolescent psychology experience REQUIRED.
  • Must be comfortable treating children as young as age 3.
  • Specialized training and clinical experience in pediatric behavioral health REQUIRED.
  • Experience providing psychological assessment and therapy services REQUIRED.

Additional Requirements:
  • Board Certification REQUIRED.
  • Current NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) REQUIRED.
  • At least one professional reference within the past 24 months REQUIRED.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills REQUIRED.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Experience with evidence-based specialized treatments.
  • Experience in highly specialized psychological practice areas.
