Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery for mothers and newborns. Additionally, you will provide critical clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to the healthcare team during your assigned shift, establishing collaborative relationships with physicians and peers to ensure optimal, safe outcomes.

Compensation & Shift Premiums:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $37.23 – $57.71/hour (dependent upon experience).
  • Shift Differentials:
    • $4.00/hour standard shift differential.
    • $2.00/hour weekend shift differential.
    • Note: These differentials are fully stackable.
  • Sign-On & Relocation: Potential sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance are available and will be discussed during the interview process.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • Degree: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) [Required].
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated Labor & Delivery experience [Required].

Licensure & Certifications:
  • State Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Department of Financial and Professional Regulation [Required].
  • Specialty Certification: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire [Required].
  • Life Support: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and BLS/CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire [Highly Preferred].

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis: Collect pertinent patient data, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential patient problems or diagnoses.
  • Care Planning & Coordination: Develop individual care plans with measurable outcomes, collaborating directly with multidisciplinary health teams and physicians to report care delivery and patient progress.
  • Shift Leadership: Provide immediate supervision to the nursing team on your shift, managing bed and patient care assignments to ensure consistency and clinical safety.
  • Patient Education & Mentorship: Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to promote a safe recovery environment for patients, while serving as a strong, positive role model and mentor for newer team members.
  • Safety & Compliance: Implement and supervise care delivery in absolute alignment with approved clinical safety, quality, and infection control standards.
