Job Title: Adult Outpatient Therapist (LMSW / LPC / LLP)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Outpatient Therapist to join our team within our Adult Behavioral Health Program. In this role, you will be responsible for providing intake evaluations, person-centered assessments, and direct individual or group psychotherapy to adults and families managing mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.

Compensation & Shift Details
- Fully Licensed Rate: $29.47 – $39.67 / hour (Dependent on experience)
- Limited Licensed Rate: $27.22 – $36.63 / hour (Dependent on experience)
- Salary Structure: This is a fixed, grant-funded position with non-negotiable pay scales.
- Travel Compensation: Mileage reimbursement is provided at the standard IRS rate when using a personal vehicle.
- Hours & Flexibility: Core operating hours are Monday through Thursday (8:30 AM – 7:00 PM), Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), and Saturday (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). Flexible scheduling options are available to help you build a sustainable work week, though some evening or weekend shifts may be required based on client care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Triage & Assessment: Perform initial intake evaluations and comprehensive diagnostic assessments utilizing Person-Centered Planning principles for adults and families.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy for mental health conditions and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with an internal and external support network, including staff psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and community support personnel.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete clinical charts, progress notes, and data tracking in a timely manner, ensuring full alignment with regulatory standards and professional codes of ethics.
- Discharge Planning: Coordinate effective, structured discharge and aftercare planning prior to formal case closures.

Experience & Core Competencies
- Clinical Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience treating or working with individuals diagnosed with a mental illness [Required]. (Valid fieldwork, practicum hours, or internship experience can count toward this year).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an innate ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships.
- High organizational dexterity to handle data tracking and instructions across multiple scheduling formats.
- Demonstrated cultural competency and an ability to work effectively with highly diverse populations.
