Job Title: Adult Echocardiogram Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Echocardiogram Technologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will perform basic and complex adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures, edit tracings, and input precise measurement data into our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, allowing them to confidently distinguish between normal and abnormal cardiac findings, recognize arrhythmias, and understand the implications of specific cardiac diagnoses to obtain optimal diagnostic studies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality, comprehensive adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures.
- Edit clinical tracings, perform necessary anatomical measurements, and accurately enter data into the computer system.
- Critically analyze scans to distinguish between normal and abnormal cardiac structural/functional findings.
- Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and adapt scanning techniques based on specific cardiac or related diagnoses to achieve optimal diagnostic studies.
- Maintain equipment, coordinate patient workflows, and collaborate efficiently with interpreting physicians and departmental staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program, OR an RDCS/RCS eligible background with a minimum of 1 year of dedicated cardiac echo experience [Required].
- Certifications: Must be certified through the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography OR through CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography [Required].
- Licensure: Must hold an active license issued by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy for the state of New Hampshire [Required].
- Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification [Required].
