Job Title: Mobile Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray / EKG) – Permanent Placement
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated, and highly autonomous Mobile Radiologic Technologist to join a nationwide provider of mobile diagnostic services. In this role, you will operate independently, driving locally to deliver high-quality portable X-ray and EKG services directly to patients within nursing homes, home care settings, and long-term care facilities. This position is ideal for an imaging professional who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high degree of daily variety and strong clinical autonomy.

- Hourly Wage: $45.00 – $50.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience).
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out quarterly during your first year of employment, with the first installment arriving on your very first paycheck.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
- Primary Certification: Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) [Required]. Note: Limited or conditional licenses cannot be accepted for this role.
- State Licensure: Must maintain a valid, active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of California [Required].
Compliance & Operations:
- Driving Record: Must maintain a valid, active Driver’s License in good standing at all times to operate local travel routes [Required].
- Vaccination Mandate: Vaccination against COVID-19 (including booster) is a standard requirement; alternative medical or religious exemption requests must include complete supporting documentation [Required].
- Background Check: Must successfully complete and pass standard pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull portable equipment weighing between 50 to 100 pounds into and out of a vehicle utilizing specialized ramps and pulleys, and navigate the equipment safely through facility corridors. Pushing forces can occur 16 to 24 times per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Imaging & Patient Care:
- Deploy to assigned local facilities via a mobile system to manage an efficient daily clinical case load.
- Transport and assemble portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment at the patient’s bedside, obtaining technically competent, diagnostic-quality images.
- Perform routine EKG testing as ordered by the attending physician and securely transmit data to a Cardiologist for prompt interpretation.
- Digitally process and securely transmit all completed X-ray studies to a remote Radiologist for formal interpretation.
Logistics & Administration:
- Securely scan and submit exam-related paperwork, billing logs, and daily documentation per protocol.
- Maintain the company vehicle and portable sonographic/radiographic machinery in excellent, safe working condition.
- Maintain rapid, professional communication loops with the central dispatch department, peers, and client facilities.
