Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Imaging Technologist I to join a premier, dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic medical imaging exams for patients of all ages, applying advanced principles, theories, and techniques to deliver reliable, high-quality clinical results. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Program Graduate: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program [Required].
- Degree Attainment: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is [Preferred].
- Clinical Experience: Three (3) years of previous experience in a hospital setting is [Highly Preferred]. The facility is fully open to evaluating enthusiastic new graduates or those with less experience.
Licensure & Certifications
- Primary Registry: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in your relevant modality [Required].
- State Licensure: Current active Oregon State Radiology License is [Highly Preferred]. Note for New Graduates: Candidates who are recent graduates of an approved program holding a valid temporary Oregon permit prior to taking the ARRT registry are welcome to apply; full registry must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Life Support: Active American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required].
- Clinical Pledges: Image Wisely and Image Gently pledge certificates must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained annually [Preferred].

Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Accurately execute specialized medical imaging procedures across the lifespan, ensuring patient safety, structural alignment, and strict adherence to technical dose standards.
- Workflow Leadership: Coordinate day-to-day patient transit and departmental scheduling to ensure high-efficiency clinical operations.
- Technical & System Competency: Maintain high proficiency operating personal computers, PACS systems, digital charting software, and standard office instrumentation.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Actively maintain excellent, compassionate relationships with the general public, patients, and healthcare professionals while strictly upholding HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
- Professional Accountability: Maintain exceptionally regular, consistent, and punctual attendance while operating independently with minimal direct supervision.
