Role & Clinical Scope:

• Position Title: Temp / Travel Inpatient Pharmacist.
• Employment Type: Temporary Contract.
• Setting: Critical Access Hospital Setting.
• Supported Units: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Labor & Delivery (L&D), Medical/Surgical (M/S), and Emergency Department (ED).
• Primary Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmaceutical care across acute care units; review orders, verify clinical profiles, manage clinical dosing, and oversee medication distribution. Must be capable of working independently (specifically on weekend shifts).
• Automated Dispensing & Systems: Meditech EMR [HIGHLY PREFERRED]; Omnicell automation systems [HIGHLY PREFERRED].

Schedule & Hours:

• Shift Type: Days (Monday – Friday).
• Shift Times: 07:00 – 16:00 (Arrival 06:30/07:00; flex between 07:00/07:30 – 16:30/17:00).
• Hours per Day: 8 Hours.
• Weekly Commitment: 40 Hours / Week.
• Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday & Sunday 07:00 – 12:00; arrival 06:30/07:00).
• On-Call Requirements: None.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:

• Clinical Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of current hospital pharmacy experience [REQUIRED].
  • 2 to 5 years total practice experience (Will consider 1 year of experience if 100% hospital-based with Meditech proficiency).
  • Critical Access Hospital experience [HIGHLY PREFERRED].
  • Previous travel contract experience [HIGHLY PREFERRED].
