Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist / Injury Manager to provide physical therapy, injury management, and clinical support for the 131st Rescue Squadron at Moffett Field, CA. This position focuses on optimizing physical readiness, managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and providing direct patient care for tactical and unit personnel.
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist / Injury Manager to provide physical therapy, injury management, and clinical support for the 131st Rescue Squadron at Moffett Field, CA. This position focuses on optimizing physical readiness, managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and providing direct patient care for tactical and unit personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, clinical diagnoses, and individualized rehabilitation programs.
- Manage musculoskeletal injuries, return-to-duty readiness assessments, and injury prevention initiatives.
- Track candidate recovery progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation per facility operational guidelines.
- Coordinate patient care and ensure full compliance with standard clinical procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered State License to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, or injury management (prior experience working with military or tactical populations is preferred).
- Clearance: Ability to pass standard background checks and maintain base access at Moffett Field.
