THE SCHEDULE

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday) No Call / No Weekends: Stable daytime hours only. The Support: Direct collaboration with MDs, LPNs, and Anesthesia teams.

CLINICAL WORKFLOW

  • Patient Load: 1:14–18 Daily Ratio (Adult Population).

  • Setting: High-acuity Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

  • Technology: Epic EMR (Mandatory Proficiency).

  • Accreditation: Recognized, accredited acute care facility.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification: Board Certified Physician Assistant.

  • Licensure: Active New York State License (In-hand).

  • Experience: 3+ years of recent clinical experience.

  • Compliance: Current BLS (AHA) Certification.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clinical Management: Evaluate and manage complex GI and Internal Medicine cases.

  • Diagnostics: Order, interpret, and action all diagnostic tests and treatments.

  • Pharmacology: Prescribe and monitor medications according to protocol.

  • Documentation: Real-time charting within the Epic EMR system.

  • Education: Lead patient and family education for chronic disease management
