Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician (Locums)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician for an ongoing consultative and ultrasound-focused role. This position involves managing high-risk pregnancies within a clinic setting, focusing on complex maternal conditions and targeted diagnostic imaging.
Schedule & Shifts:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Commitment: Full-time preferred; will consider a minimum of 1 week per month.
- Contract: Ongoing starting May 10th.
- Call: Not required, but preferred.
Clinical Work Details
- Setting: Clinic-based ultrasound interpretation and consultation.
- Volume: Average of 25 patients per day.
- Support: Team includes 2 RNs, 2 MAs, and 2 APPs.
- EMR: Epic.
- High-Risk Scope: Management of PIH, HELLP syndrome, Cardiac/Renal/Neurological disorders, multiple gestations, and placenta previa/abruption.
- Technical Skills: Performance and interpretation of Level II targeted ultrasounds, echocardiography, and genetic amniocentesis.
Requirements:
- Board Status: BC or BE in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania state license and DEA.
- Certification: BLS required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in MFM; strong ultrasound diagnostic skills are highly preferred.
Credentialing:
- Timeframe: 90 days.
- Temporary Privileges: Available for providers with a clean file.
- Orientation: 2 hours gratis.
