Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist to join a busy outpatient Radiation Oncology department. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality radiation treatments while working alongside physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to provide exceptional cancer care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately
- Perform treatment simulations and patient positioning
- Fabricate immobilization devices and shielding when required
- Perform daily equipment quality assurance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and oncology staff
Qualifications
Required
- Active ARRT (T) certification
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with Varian and ARIA systems or previous travel/staff experience using these platforms
Preferred
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam
- Experience with Trilogy
- Experience with ARIA Oncology Information System
