Schedule: Days (Standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; occasional extended shifts until 7:00 PM on Mondays and/or Wednesdays)
Weekend / On-Call Requirements: No weekends; no call requirements (Holiday coverage only if required by clinic operations)

Position Overview:
An established ambulatory care network in New Hampshire is seeking a permanent Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join their outpatient care team. Operating under the general supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinic RN will apply the full nursing process to deliver, delegate, and coordinate high-quality patient care. This role combines face-to-face clinical procedures, patient triage, phone assessment, health education, and provider support in a dynamic clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope:
  • Triage & Health Assessment: Perform physical and psychosocial assessments in person and telephonically; identify patient needs, analyze health trends, and execute appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Clinical Procedures & Provider Support: Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with diagnostic examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.
  • Medication & Acuity Management: Administer medications, perform clinical treatments, and prioritize patient acuity and clinic workflow.
  • Delegation & Team Leadership: Act as a clinical resource for medical assistants and support staff, delegating duties in accordance with the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act.
  • Documentation & Quality: Maintain complete, accurate EMR documentation for all in-person and telephone interactions; participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education & Advocacy: Provide health counseling, chronic disease management education, and self-care instructions to patients and families.

Qualifications & Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience:
  • Degree: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN) from an accredited program [Required].
  • Nursing Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of active RN clinical practice [Required].
  • Setting Experience: Prior nursing experience in an outpatient clinic or physician practice setting [Highly Preferred].

Licensure & Certifications:
  • State Licensure: Active, unrestricted New Hampshire RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License [Required] (Note: Facility will consider candidates with NH license pending).
  • Life Support: Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required].
