Critical Care RN – Weekend Night Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a specialized, high-impact role in Camden, NJ. This position is strictly for both local candidates and out of state who can provide consistent weekend coverage in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma setting.
Schedule & Availability:
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
- Weekly Commitment: Weekends Only (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights).
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week.
- Holiday Policy: No requested time off (RTO) permitted during the week of July 4th.
Clinical Expertise Required:
This role involves managing complex, life-sustaining equipment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in:
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy): Independent management of circuits, fluid balance, and electrolyte monitoring.
- EVD (External Ventricular Drain): Expertise in ICP monitoring and drain maintenance for neurological critical care patients.
- Trauma/Surgical ICU: Ability to stabilize and manage poly-trauma and post-surgical patients.
Requirements:
- Candidate Location: Must be a local candidate currently residing within a commutable distance to Camden, NJ.
- Licensure: Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (CCRN preferred).
- Technical Skills: Must be comfortable in a high-volume, urban trauma environment.
Compensation:
We offer premium hourly rates reflecting the specialized nature of this weekend position:
- Local (In-State) Rate: $52.00/ hour
- Out-of-State (Commutable) Rate: $60.00 / hour
