Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Level I Trauma ER RN)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN) to deliver rapid, holistic care to acute patients across all age demographics—from neonates to older adults. In this role, you will execute the full nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation), coordinate multidisciplinary care, and apply specialized trauma and cardiac capabilities within a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Emergency Nursing Care: Assess, prioritize, and treat patients presenting with urgent or life-threatening clinical conditions across the lifespan.
  • Trauma & Cardiac Care: Interpret cardiac rhythms, manage critical telemetry, and deliver specialized trauma and stroke interventions.
  • Care Coordination: Develop and revise patient care plans, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and delegate clinical activities appropriately.
  • Practice Standards: Utilize EHR systems to document care accurately and participate in practice improvement initiatives to elevate patient care and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Specialty Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Emergency Room RN experience [Required].
  • Trauma Level: Demonstrated experience working in a Level I Trauma Center [Required].
  • Travel Experience: Minimum of 1 year of prior travel nursing experience [Required].
  • Patient Population: Hands-on experience caring for all patient populations (pediatric through geriatric) [Required].
  • Clinical Skills: Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation proficiency [Required].
  • EHR Proficiency: Experience with the Epic Electronic Health Record system [Required].
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License [Required].
  • Certifications:
    • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required].
    • Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) [Required].
    • Active Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) [Required].
    • Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification [Required].
    • Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) [Required].
