Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Travel/Contract)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Sonographer to join our clinical team. In this role, you will use specialized equipment to emit high-frequency sound waves, creating critical internal images (sonograms/ultrasounds) to assist in medical diagnosis and treatment planning. You will work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to assess and identify various medical conditions across a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams accurately and safely.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging that aids in patient assessment.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Operate and maintain specialized ultrasound equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Sonographer experience [Required].
- Certification: Active ARDMS certification [Required].
- Documentation: Must provide proof of ARRT/ARDMS credentials at the time of submission.
