Job Title: Staff Diagnostic Radiologist (On-Site).

Location: Orlando VA Medical Center, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827.

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; No nights, weekends, or on-call duties).

Job Summary:

We are seeking two (2) full-time, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologists with subspecialty expertise in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal (MSK), or Body Imaging to perform on-site clinical interpretation for the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The selected physicians will work as a complementary pair (e.g., Neuro + MSK, Neuro + Body, or MSK + Body).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site diagnostic imaging interpretation across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic X-Ray modalities.
Maintain a target output benchmark of 9,000 work Relative Value Units (wRVUs) per year (~34.6 wRVUs/day).
Adhere to practice standards and clinical guidelines set by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
Ensure seamless continuity of care during standard operational hours.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Board Certification: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
Subspecialty Qualification: Demonstrated competency or subspecialty training in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal (MSK), or Body Imaging.
Clinical Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of continuous Board-Certified/Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist experience within the past four (4) years.
Licensure: Active, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. State, Territory, or District of Columbia. Candidates with a history of license restrictions, revocations, or suspensions will not be considered.
Facility Credentialing: Must successfully complete VA credentialing and privileging under VHA Directives 1100.20 and 1100.21 prior to starting.
