Job Title: MRI Technologist (ARRT - MRI)
Job Summary: We are seeking an autonomous and skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care settings. Operating independently under limited supervision, you will utilize technical initiative, clinical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of MRI safety protocols to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages.
Compensation:
- Median Salary: $104,601 / year (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic MRI Execution: Prepare patients, position equipment, select appropriate pulse sequences, and independently perform specialized MRI exams according to clinical protocols.
- MRI Safety & Patient Care: Maintain strict adherence to Zone IV safety guidelines, screen patients and staff for metallic/implant contraindications, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout scans.
- Imaging Quality & Workflow: Review completed images for technical quality, process scan data, and transmit images to the Radiologist for prompt interpretation.
- Vascular Access: Perform venipuncture for contrast media administration as ordered by the supervising physician.
- Quality Assurance & Maintenance: Assist with routine equipment quality control (QC), report system malfunctions, and adhere to hospital infection control standards.
