Job Title: CT / Radiologic Technologist (ARRT - CT & X-Ray)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dual-skilled CT / Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will independently operate computed tomography (CT) scanners and general radiography equipment to acquire high-quality cross-sectional diagnostic images across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings. You will also assist radiologists with invasive procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams.

Compensation & Perks:
  • Pay Rate: $20.67 – $27.91 / hour (commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities:
  • CT & Radiographic Imaging: Operate CT scanners, power injectors, post-processing equipment, and general X-ray machinery to produce high-diagnostic-quality images using appropriate positioning and technical factors.
  • Invasive Procedure Assistance: Independently assist radiologists during CT-guided invasive procedures, including biopsies and abscess drainages.
  • Patient Care & History: Verify positive patient identification, obtain thorough clinical histories, clearly explain procedures to patients of all ages, and communicate delays.
  • Protocol & Image Management: Select and adjust protocols based on patient needs, critique completed images, maintain low repeat rates, and process/archive scan data for radiologist review.
  • Quality & Safety: Maintain quality control standards, practice radiation safety, and manage department records in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Associate degree (or equivalent 2-year allied health degree) in Radiologic Technology [Required].
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum 2+ years of current, full-time experience in both CT and X-ray within a hospital or Emergency Department setting [Required].
  • Certifications & Registrations:
    • Active ARRT certification in Radiography [Required].
    • Active ARRT Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) [Required].
  • Core Competencies: Strong working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, emergency imaging protocols, patient history gathering, and independent clinical initiative.
