About the Job
Role & Clinical Scope:
  • Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Employment Type: Temporary / Contract (Day Shift).
  • Setting: Hospital Operating Room / Surgical Services Department.
  • Primary Scope: Assist surgeons and surgical team members before and during operating room procedures. Prepare surgical suites, sterile fields, patients, and specialized equipment; provide primary scrubbing support across pending surgical cases.

Schedule & Hours:
  • Shift Type: Days (8-Hour Shifts).
  • Shift Times: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
  • Hours / Floating Requirement: Floating between designated regional facility sites is required (30-minute response time required for call coverage).
  • Weekend Requirements: Yes (covered via on-call rotation).
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes (up to 10 on-call shifts per month).

Submission & Candidate Requirements:
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of current Certified Surgical Technologist experience [REQUIRED].
  • Specialty Experience: Surgical experience in Orthopedics, OB-GYN, and General Surgery [PREFERRED].
  • National Certification: Active NBSTSA Certification [REQUIRED AT SUBMISSION].
  • Life Support: Active BLS Certification [REQUIRED AT SUBMISSION].
