Job Title: Cardiovascular / Cath Lab Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Technologist to join our state-of-the-art interventional team. In this role, you will assist physicians in performing complex diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
Operating in a fast-paced environment that services both inpatient and one-day outpatient populations, you will play an essential role in ensuring patient safety, sterile field maintenance, and high-quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procedure Support: Assist clinical teams during cardiac catheterizations, diagnostic angiographies, and venographies.
- Interventional Care: Support peripheral angioplasty procedures, including stent placements and cardiac pacemaker insertions.
- Non-Vascular Support: Assist with a variety of non-vascular interventional procedures as prescribed by the medical team.
- Patient & Clinical Prep: Maintain a sterile surgical environment, prep patients for imaging, and operate advanced cardiovascular and imaging equipment.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and imaging staff to deliver seamless care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience & Clinical Background:
- Specialized Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Cath Lab experience [Required].
- Clinical Adaptability: Comfort supporting both acute inpatients and rapid-turnaround outpatient procedures.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Core Specialty: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential [Required].
- Life Support Certifications: Must be active and issued via the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required]:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
