Job Title: CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist (Dual-Discipline).
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled dual-discipline CT & X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic computed tomography and general radiography imaging in a hospital setting. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art CT scanners, digital radiography equipment, fluoroscopy units, and surgical C-arms across all patient age groups, delivering precise diagnostic images while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic CT & Radiography: Position patients using appropriate immobilization devices and perform high-quality CT scans, routine diagnostic X-rays, fluoroscopy procedures, and digital radiography.
- Surgical & Portable Imaging: Operate mobile radiographic equipment for bedside exams, emergency room trauma cases, and surgical C-arm imaging in the operating room (OR).
- Equipment & Exposure Control: Adjust technical factors (kilovoltage, milliamperage, exposure time, distance) to obtain optimal diagnostic views while maintaining ALARA radiation safety standards.
- Workflow & Patient Care: Prioritize daily imaging workflow, coordinate patient care with clinical teams, and maintain clear, compassionate communication with patients of all age groups (pediatric through geriatric).
Dress Code Guidelines:
- Hospital-provided blue scrubs or plain personal scrubs (business casual with lab coat permitted). Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or clogs) required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Clinical Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital environment [Required].
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Radiologic/X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital environment [Required].
- Procedural Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portable X-Ray, and Operating Room (OR) C-arm procedures across all patient age groups [Required].
Certifications:
- Active ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and/or Computed Tomography (CT) [Required].
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
- Licensure: Active State Medical Imaging License [Required].
- Core Competencies: High proficiency in both CT and Diagnostic X-Ray modalities, strong organizational abilities, excellent interpersonal communication, and strong radiation protection practices.
