Job Title: Senior X-Ray Technologist / CT Lead Technologist
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Lead Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures for patients across all age groups. In addition to technical execution, this role provides daily workflow leadership within the radiology department, managing patient throughput and assisting with clinical team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform routine and specialized radiologic examinations following established clinical protocols, radiation safety standards (ALARA), and position techniques.
- Dual-Modality Coverage: Safely operate equipment across both Radiography (X-Ray) and Computed Tomography (CT) modalities based on daily departmental needs.
- Workflow Leadership: Direct daily patient care flow, optimize shift schedules, assist clinical staff with complex cases, and maintain high operational efficiency.
- Patient Care & Safety: Educate patients on procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety, and accurately capture and archive digital images for radiologist interpretation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program [Required].
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical X-Ray experience as an ARRT-certified technologist [Required].
- Modality Versatility: Demonstrated capability and willingness to float between X-Ray and CT modalities [Required].
- Certifications:
- Active ARRT Certification in Radiography [Required].
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
- Licensure: Valid State Radiologic Technologist License (must possess or be eligible to obtain prior to start).
