Job Title: Mobile X-Ray & EKG Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)
Job Summary: We are seeking an independent and reliable Mobile Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile diagnostic imaging and EKG services to patients in nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings. Operating portable digital radiography (DR/CR) equipment, you will perform diagnostic imaging ordered by physicians and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care directly in field environments.
Compensation & Perks:
- Pay Rate: $30.00+ / hour (commensurate with experience)
- Shift Differential: Additional pay available for qualifying shifts
- Pay Flexibility: Same-day pay advance options available
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Unload, transport, and operate portable DR/CR radiography equipment to perform diagnostic X-rays in long-term care facilities and patient residences.
- EKG Execution: Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as required and transmit data to cardiologists for reading.
- Image Processing & Transmission: Process digital images promptly and submit them for radiologist evaluation.
- Administrative & Billing Support: Scan daily exam paperwork and billing records per protocol.
- Vehicle & Equipment Care: Maintain company vehicle and portable X-ray/EKG equipment in proper working order.
- Dispatch Communication: Maintain routine contact with dispatchers and clinical management to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification: Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification [Required]. (Limited licenses not accepted).
- Licensure: Active State Radiologic Technologist License [Required].
- Driver’s License: Active driver’s license in good standing [Required].
- Immunization: COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption documentation [Required].
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push/pull mobile equipment weighing 50–100 lbs (utilizing vehicle ramps and pulleys) multiple times throughout the shift.
