Job Title: Lead Radiologic Technologist / Senior X-Ray Technologist.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging department. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures, utilize advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to manage patient records, and deliver exceptional compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Radiography: Perform a wide range of diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with established clinical standards, safety protocols, and radiation protection principles (ALARA).
- Patient Care & Safety: Prepare and position patients effectively, explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort, and apply proper verbal de-escalation/crisis prevention techniques as needed.
- Clinical EMR Documentation: Utilize EPIC EMR to access patient orders, document exam completions, and transmit diagnostic images to PACS and reading physicians efficiently.
- Equipment & Quality Control: Maintain imaging equipment, uphold quality control standards, and ensure a sterile, clean care environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of recent, direct X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist experience [Required].
- EMR Proficiency: Hands-on experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record system [Required].
- Licensure: Active State Radiologic Technologist License [Required].
- Certifications:
- Active ARRT (R) Certification in Radiography [Required].
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
- Crisis Prevention / De-escalation Training (e.g., CPI, Welle, or equivalent) [Required prior to start].
- Preferred Experience: Prior background working in Level 1 Trauma centers or large acute-care facilities and previous travel assignment experience [Strongly Preferred].
