- Please Note: This is a union-represented position. Starting wage rates are determined strictly based on verifiable years of relevant clinical experience and follow standard, non-negotiable collective bargaining agreements.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Radiology / Medical Imaging Technologist I to perform a variety of diagnostic medical imaging examinations across a diverse patient demographic. In this role, you will apply established principles, theories, and advanced technical imaging skills to deliver reliable, high-quality test results.
In addition to technical duties, you will provide daily clinical leadership to optimize patient care and department workflows, working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform routine and specialized medical imaging examinations for patients of all ages, adhering strictly to diagnostic standards and clinical protocols.
- Workflow Leadership: Coordinate daily patient scheduling and clinical workflows to maximize departmental efficiency and reduce patient wait times.
- Technology & Systems: Utilize personal computers, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and modality-specific imaging software programs effectively.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe patient handling and accurate test routing.
- Confidentiality & Care: Maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) while delivering compassionate, professional care to all patients and visitors.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications.
Education & Experience Baseline:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program [Required]. An Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Clinical Experience: Three (3) years of previous experience in an acute hospital setting is highly preferred. However, passionate new graduates or technologists with less experience are welcome to apply and will be considered.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Professional Registration: Active certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in your primary modality [Required].
- State Licensure: Active state-issued medical imaging license (or a valid temporary state permit for recent graduates preparing to take the ARRT registry within 12 months) [Highly Preferred].
- Life Support: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
- Safety Pledges: Possession of (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) the Image Wisely and Image Gently safety pledge certificates [Preferred].
