🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 40 Hours Weekly
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift travel assignment in a fast-paced hospital imaging department. This role offers a supportive team environment where travelers will always work alongside another MRI Technologist or Tech Aide and will never work independently overnight.
The department transitions to on-call coverage after midnight, creating a balanced overnight workflow.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Weekend Requirement: None (Holiday coverage may be required)
- Call Requirement: Possible call coverage as needed
Clinical Environment
- Average of approximately 9 patients per shift
- Collaborative imaging team environment
- Travelers will always have onsite support staff
- GE MRI equipment utilized
- Meditech Expanse EMR preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging exams
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and imaging department staff
- Follow MRI safety standards and infection control policies
Requirements
Required
- Minimum 2 years current MRI experience
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- Active AHA BLS Certification
- Experience with GE MRI Equipment
- Willingness to work evenings and possible call coverage
- Traveler must have personal transportation
