Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist (Travel Contract)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time contract in a rural healthcare setting. This role supports a comprehensive range of units, including the ICU, Labor & Delivery, Med/Surg, and the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of working independently, particularly during weekend rotations, to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care in a critical access environment.

Schedule & Shift Details:

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
Shift Times: 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM.
Weekends: Rotating coverage required (approximately every 3rd weekend), Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Start Date: ASAP preferred.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of current hospital pharmacy experience is Required. (1 year may be considered if exclusively hospital-based with Meditech proficiency).
Clinical Skills: Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital is highly preferred.
Systems: Familiarity with Meditech and Omnicell is a significant plus.
Licensure: Active New Hampshire State Pharmacist License (Candidates may apply at the time of offer).
Certification: Current AHA BLS certification required.

Requirements for Travel Candidates:

Travel Status: This position is open to non-local candidates only (Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility).
Independence: Must demonstrate the ability to manage pharmacy operations independently during weekend shifts.
Experience: Previous travel contract experience is highly preferred.
