We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rehabilitation setting providing evaluation and treatment of patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Schedule:
- Day Shift.
- 8-Hour Days.
- 35 Guaranteed Hours Weekly.
- No Weekends.
- No On-Call.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized plans of care.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
- Complete required clinical documentation.
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience REQUIRED.
- Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience REQUIRED.
- Active Texas SLP License REQUIRED.
- CCC-SLP Certification REQUIRED.
- BLS Certification REQUIRED.
- Three years holding active CCC-SLP preferred.
