🔥 40 Hours Guaranteed | Open Heart Cases | Day Shifts
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong CVOR/Open Heart experience for a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical team in Midland, Michigan.
This is a great opportunity for a CVOR tech looking for a stable travel contract with consistent hours, advanced surgical cases, and a collaborative OR environment.
Assignment Highlights

- Work alongside experienced surgical teams
- Acute care/trauma-level environment
- Floating to General OR as needed
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- 1–2 call nights weekly
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
- Set up instruments, supplies, and surgical equipment
- Support cardiovascular and open heart procedures
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sharps, and sponges
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Requirements
- 5+ years of CVOR Surgical Tech experience REQUIRED
- Open Heart experience REQUIRED
- NBSTSA Certification REQUIRED
- BLS (AHA) REQUIRED
- Trauma center experience preferred
- Must be comfortable floating to General OR
- Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
