Position Overview
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing and processing mobile X-Ray exams using portable DR/CR radiography equipment while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care.
This role requires strong technical imaging skills, professionalism, communication, and the ability to work independently across multiple healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile X-Ray Imaging
- Perform diagnostic X-Ray exams using portable digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) equipment
- Obtain clinically accurate and technically competent diagnostic images
- Transmit imaging studies electronically to Radiologists for interpretation
- Travel between healthcare facilities and patient care locations
Equipment & Operations
- Load, unload, transport, and maintain portable imaging equipment
- Ensure imaging equipment remains operational and properly maintained
- Perform EKGs as required and transmit studies for Cardiologist interpretation
Documentation & Communication
- Complete and scan exam-related documentation and billing paperwork daily
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and management teams
- Maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, patients, and peers
Schedule Details
- Flexible AM / PM / Evening shifts available
- Weekend opportunities available
- 8-hour shifts
- Full-time and part-time openings available
- On-call responsibilities discussed during interview
Requirements
Certifications & Licensure
- Active ARRT Certification REQUIRED
- Active California State License REQUIRED
- Limited license NOT accepted
- Valid driver’s license in good standing REQUIRED
Additional Requirements

- Ability to work independently in mobile healthcare environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to push/pull portable imaging equipment weighing 50–100 lbs
